Good luck, if i can help further let me know.

I got some ornate uros from Craig in Austin, I admit I did not pay much for them, mostly it was a trade for some stuff I produced. Well of the 4 uros, 1 is still alive, and it is not doing well. No names, but some friends also got some ornates from Craig. Of the 12 total we got, 2 are still alive (and the one that was mine, is on the brink of death.) Now, all of us had some trade value in the deal, and thus, Craig did not want to give us cash for the dead animals. He said he would make it right, with animals. I have no intention of getting any more animals form Craig. So, I will take it as a loss and a learning experience.

So sorry to hear about that. Really sucks. Its a good sign that he said he would try to make it right. But I personally wont buy from him either. Wish your story was a better one. Good luck.

My name is Noe, I dont know how my name was put in this matter. Ive set up at 1 show and that was at the arlington reptile show in june the texas reptile expo , I traded craig some of my albino boas that I produced for some ball pythons he had. And that is the extent of me knowing him before then and after I have not talked to him , I didnt even know the guys name till a friend told me about this posting and I started asking around I dont work with him nor do I talk to him or do any kind of buissness with this person Ive meet him one time . I have never even been to a reptile show in San Antonio . I sale Boas and Ball morphs all which I produce my self , I have no affiliation with any kind of wild caught animals. I dont know where Slither got his info, But putting my name in the whole ordeal is BAD INFO!!! Please in the future do your research before you run someone's name in the ground!!

Sounds like either a case of mistaken identity or perhaps someone else named Noe. Please introduce yourself in the welcome new members section

Thanks!

I know that craig did go to the airport and get his shipment and go to the show without looking at them, but I have to disagree with this " they will sell anything to anyone as long as they get money, they dont seem to care about education of reptile keeping, care of the reptiles, etc. just money" Craigs a good guy, whos very knowledgeable and will definately answer any questions you have about reptiles.

I agree with Marc on this. I certainly don't agree with opening boxes on your table but he is willing to spend time with customers telling them about the housing requirements, etc of the things he sells. Everyone is interested in making money in their business.

Default just the facts

I saw the boxes being opened and the reptiles dished out at the SA. Expo. I remembered there were rules against that and was concerned about the herps. When I first spoke to him, he was very short and he wouldn't say who he was and just said he was a college student. I did notice his prices were very good. Most people wanted to make deals and he was good at that. At the last Austin expo, he was much more talkative as I was a vendor there not just a expo visitor. We did talk some business and apparently he sells tons of herps all around the World. After that, during the expo, other herp people came up to me and warned me not to do business with him and told me the story about him opening boxes of WC animals at the NARBC show in Arlington. I think I had already read that somewhere as well. Apparently a lot of people know about that incident.
You have a choice in life on how to conduct yourself and how you go about things whether you are making money or not. Since when is making money an excuse to throw around herps like playing cards. That's is absolute ********.
I think maybe he should switch to dealing cars or something or maybe you can teach him about ethics, morality and the well being of animals.

Default Not mean, the truth but I have edited, thanks

With today's trend of tip toeing and political denial, isn't honesty and being straightforward a better way?

I think honesty is a good thing. We just have to remember to stick to the STR rules to keep this a friendly place. If you give someone facts about a individual/seller (good or bad facts) then you have done your job and it's up to the individual/buyer to make the decision that is right for them.
